Hello World!
I am proud to begin my bimonthly post (Aware! in DC) for the updated Aware! website—
the new platform for the discussion of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
In the summer of 2009 I spent three months in Israel with the Minerva Center for Human Rights, taking intensive courses and participating in a human rights internship.
Jake is a recent graduate from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies with an MA in International Security. He is particularly interested in the precarious balance between Human Rights and Security that all countries face. Read his bimonthly blog, "Aware! in DC," as he works his way through some of the most difficult questions surrounding Israel and Palestine. Jake is currently living and working in the D.C. area.
